Paywizard.co.uk - UK White Collar Worker Among Best Paid Global, Compare Salaries Engineers, IT Workers, Managers, Sales Reps

UK’s white-collar workers are among the best paid in the world. This is the outcome of the Loonwijzer-Monsterboard Wage Index, an international study of wages and labour market.

The study compares the median salaries globally of managers, professionals (in IT, finance, sales, accounting etc.), technicians, associate professionals and clerical support workers.

For example professionals in IT, finance and sales earn in the UK £16 per hour. That is £2.5  less than their American colleagues, a pound less than in Germany, but almost £10.5  more than in India and more than £ 13 than in Russia and China when accounting for differences in local prices.

Not surprisingly are the best-paid white-collar workers, the managers. After that the professionals, on the 3rd position are the technicians and associate professionals and on the 4th the clerical support workers.

The highest paid workers are in the US and Europe, the lowest in the former Soviet Union countries, Asia and Africa, with South Africa as the exception.
